Mikko Laakkonen
Mikko Laakkonen, born in 1974 in Espoo, is a renowned Finnish designer with a degree in musical instrument making and a master’s degree in furniture design.
In 2004 he founded Studio Mikko Laakkonen, specializing in product design for everyday objects. His work is exhibited worldwide and he has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Reddot Design Award and the Muuuz International Awards. He currently works with clients in several countries, including Marimekko and Artemide.
