Si-Si-Chair

by Gaber

design Meneghello Paolelli Associati

Eclectic, chameleon-like, and multi-material chair, Si-Si is above all a smart chair that does not base its strength on the mere aesthetic aspect, because it is capable of interpreting the fragile balance between indoor and outdoor. A single body, fixed to the slender frame, can act either as a backrest or as a seat. Hence the name Si-Si, a sound repeated twice that pays homage to the duplicity of this element. One frame and four ‘bodies’, with heterogeneous textures and materials, make it suitable to very different environments.

Hear from our clients

Lain were engaged to provide a large quantity of furniture and workstations for a library and community centre in Armstrong Creek. The furniture provided is of a very good quality and value for money. Lain was very professional in working through the selection process and provided a service that was over and above expectations. I hope to work with Lain again in the not too distant future.

Hyppo Low Table

by S-Cab

design Meneghello Paolelli

The result of playful experimentation, the Hyppo coffee-table family is designed for outdoor use but adapts with versatility to indoor spaces. The inspiration, clear even from the name itself, is linked to the morphology of the hippopotamus and is revealed in the design of the aluminium legs, large and sculptural. The contrasting top, made with coloured paste laminate, stands out instead for its thin profile and deliberately irregular contour, reminiscent of the animal’s body. Available in different diameters and heights, Hyppo’s variants can be combined to recreate islands of coffee tables, welcoming the placement in any corner or living room. The colour palette, which includes ochre, crimson, quartz green, and petroleum green in a matte finish, also promotes the complementarity of the combination.
