Lain partnered with I2C Architects to deliver a complete outdoor commercial furniture package for the newly built Banchory Grove Shopping Centre in Melton, Victoria — one of Melbourne’s fastest growing outer western corridor communities. As a brand new retail destination built from the ground up, it was critical that every element of the outdoor furniture package was cohesive, durable, and fully integrated with the centre’s architectural vision from day one.

Central to the outdoor shopping centre furniture package were Lain’s custom Monarch Bins — designed and manufactured specifically for Banchory Grove Shopping Centre to complement the centre’s external cladding and echo the warm timber aesthetic throughout the outdoor retail environment. The custom bin finish ensures a seamless visual connection between the waste solutions and the surrounding architecture, delivering a premium and considered outcome that elevates the overall external presentation of the centre.

The outdoor furniture fit-out was completed with Cape bolt-down stools and matching tables, all specified and installed to integrate seamlessly with the surrounding architecture and material palette — creating a cohesive, welcoming outdoor dining and rest environment for the Melton community.
